The adventurous ‘Toyota Hilux Shinkula Drive Expedition’, concluded today at Jispa (Lahaul) leaving long last memories.
The journey, which started from Panhkula from June 27, remained an exciting affair for all the participants.
“The Toyota Hilux left the owners with an experience of a lifetime. Whatever the conditions, be it snow, potholes, muddy roads or dangerous hilly terrains, the Hilux has demonstrated its performance and capability to the best of its ability,” said Vini, a young participant.
The participants of the expedition got to know the real offroading capability of the Hilux by driving on the high hills of Naldera, climbing the Shinkula pass and riding the waves of the Chandrabhaga river.
The main attraction of this journey was the climb up to Jalori Dar and the 360 Degree view of Tirthan Valley, a wonderful sight of nature in itself. As many as 13 Hilux vehicles participated in the campaign and the main objective was to make the Hilux owners experience its true potential.
The campaign was flagged off by Vivek Dutta, Managing Director, Globe Toyota. It is noteworthy that Toyota successfully organised the Hilux Spiti Valley campaign, earlier this year.
