Although Delhi Government approved setting up of polling booths, the election of registered graduate constituency of Panjab University senate is likely to be held on September 26, informed Vikram Nayyar, Registrar-cum-Returning Officer, Panjab University. He further said that the date has been issued in anticipation of the approval of the Vice President of India and Chancellor, Panjab University, and also subject to approval of Uttrakhand, which is among one of the states where election of this constituency is to be held while following Covid-19 protocols.
