The first semifinal match between Ranstar Cricket Club Delhi and UPCA, at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, was abandoned after heavy showers. After winning the toss, Ranstar Cricket Club put UPCA to bat. The match was reduced to 20 overs. However, due to continuous showers, the match was forced to called-off.
Ranstar having secured three wins, against UPCA’s two wins, in the league stage eased into the finals. The second semifinal, at the Sector 16 cricket stadium, between HPCA and CAG Delhi was also called off after various attempts by the ground staff to get the match started. HPCA secured three wins at the league stage and CAG Delhi had logged two wins. The final match between Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association and Ranstar Cricket Club Delhi will start at IS Bindra Cricket Stadium, PCA, Mohali, on September 12.
