Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh to host Tokyo Olympics stars in Chandigarh on September 8

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh will be donning a new hat—a chef’s this time- to cook varities of food for the Tokyo Olympics medal winners from Punjab and Haryana’s Javelin Thrower Neeraj Chopra.

On August 12, during a felicitation ceremony organised by the Punjab Government, the Chief Minister had announced to host the state players, who brought laurels for the country in the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj Chopra and their families over a dinner/lunch treat.

“From Patiala cuisine to pulao, lamb, chicken, aloo & Zarda rice, CM @capt_amarinder will prepare each of these delicacies himself to keep his promise to Punjab Olympic medal winners (& Neeraj Chopra) at the dinner he’s hosting for them tomorrow,” said Chief Minister Amarinder Singh’s media adviser Raveen Thukral in his tweet.
