Gambhir’s association with Kolkata Knight Riders from 2011 till 2017, as captain, has led the team to win the IPL title twice. Gambhir has been one of the most renowned captain , and his leadership skills and technical acumen has always inspired his teammates.
The official announcement of Gambhir’s return to Kolkata Knight Rider was made public on 21 November 2023. Before that Gambhir has been mentoring Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for their 2022-2023 session.
