Chandigarh has ranked first among the union territories of the country BY administering vaccine to the highest number of health workers so far in the Covid vaccination campaign. Chandigarh has administered around 4,000 vaccinations and Puducherry, which has secured second rank, vaccinated around 3,000 health workers.
This data was released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The Health Department attributes this success to the hard work and willpower of its strong team.
Health workers who had been vaccinated came forward to speed up the covid vaccination campaign. The doctors, paramedical staff and class IV staff who have been vaccinated so far under the Health Department are working to make their colleagues aware who have not been vaccinated. A large number of people from private hospitals are coming and getting vaccinated.
