Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that the NEET result will be declared soon to prevent any further delay in the new session.
It is one of the highest competitive exams which opens opportunities for students to get into medical colleges.
The exam was conducted amid precautions on September 13 after Supreme Court rejected a petition seeking to delay it.

The answer key was released by National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 26. As per latest update on the result date, NTA officials confirmed that the result will be announced by October 12. However, NTA has yet not released any notification regarding the release date of the NEET-UG results.
In case two candidates score the same, tie-breaking policy will come into effect.

1. Visit official website- ntaneet.nic.in
2. On the homepage, click on the link ‘NEET (UG) – 2020 Result’
3. Enter your NEET application number, date of birth and click on submit
4. The result will be displayed on your screen
5. Download the result and keep a print for future reference
