Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are officially engaged and the couple looks resplendent in the first pictures. Priyanka and Nick are rumoured to tie knot next month.
Their engagement ceremony – the roka – today was only for close friends and members of their respective families. The Desi Girl of Bollywood was dressed in a gorgeous lemon yellow anarkali and flare pants for her special day.
Priyanka, who channelled strong summer vibes on her engagement day, kept her look very minimal, with brown-hued lips and gold-toned eyelids to go with the heavily silver-embroidered anarkali.
The actress’s anarkali was adorned with gota and sequin work, which made the diva look like a true Indian beauty. She accentuated her stunning ethnic outfit with a gorgeous sequined dupatta. Priyanka left her hair open in middle parting and paired the outfit with gold jewellery and a pair of jootis. While Priyanka looked beautiful for her engagement, her fiance Nick also looked quite dapper in white silk kurta-pajama.
Nick Jonas’s parents Paul Kevin Jonas and Denise Miller-Jonas were also in Indian attire. Denise looked resplendent in blue while Paul, like son Nick, was in white kurta-pajama.
Priyanka’s cousin and Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra was also present at the engagement, dressed in a beautiful yellow suit. It seems like Priyanka kept a yellow dress code for her special day.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had a formal roka ceremony today. Nick proposed to Priyanka in London on her 36th birthday, on July 18. It is rumoured that Nick shut down a Tiffany and Co store to look for the perfect ring for Priyanka.
