Punjab cadre IPS Nilambari Jagdale was relieved from the post of SSP (Law and Order) Chandigarh on the completion of her deputation term on Friday. The charge of SSP has been given to Vineet Kumar, IPS.
Also, Chetan Mittal, senior advocate and assistant solicitor general of India, on Friday was appointed as the chief legal adviser at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) for three years.
Commenting on his appointment, Mittal said, “It is an honour to work for a prestigious institute that caters to the needs of thousands of patients.”
