7th Edition of Tynor Sudama Cup was inaugurated on 5th October at Sports Complex, sector 78, Mohali.
In the opening match, Amit Sondhi (PNB) defeated Vinay Thakur 21-14 19-21 21-12.
Kulwant Singh, MLA, Mohali dist, was the chief guest for the occasion. The other distinguished dignitaries who graced the occasion were AJ Singh from Tynor group, AK Kaushal, President DBA, Sanjeev Sachdeva, member of National Selection Committee, Prashar, Ex Senior Correspondent of The Tribune, Parminder Singh, Chief Engineer.In his address, Kulwant appreciated the initiative taken by Sudama Pariwar sports club and the efforts put in by the organizers to make the players, arrived from all over the country, comfortable by providing them all the possible facilities. He announced a donation of Rs 1 lakh for organizing this tournament to Sudama Sports Club. He also announced All out assistance for maintaining the Sports Complex.
