Tragic Deaths of Two Minor Sisters in Ambala Under Investigation

On July 31, two young sisters in Valmiki Colony, Ambala City, were tragically discovered dead inexplicably at their house. The victims, Yogita, age 11, and Amayra, age 7, were found by their older brother Saurabh, who had forgotten his phone at home and had returned home.

The kids were left alone in the house that morning when Sonu and Jyoti, the girls’ parents, reportedly departed for work. When Saurabh got home with his father, he said that he saw his sisters unconscious in their room. They were sent to a local hospital right away, but upon arrival, the medical staff pronounced them dead.

The family is suspicious of foul play, and they have identified a person who is at odds with Sonu over money. Sonu and a man called Vikas are said to have gotten into a furious quarrel at their house earlier that day. Saurabh stated that he thought Vikas could have had anything to do with his sisters’ deaths.

Sonu’s grandpa, Ved Prakash, disclosed to the police that his grandson had battled heroin addiction for the last four years. He described the fight that happened a few hours before the girls were discovered to be unconscious. Ved Prakash saw that both sisters’ necks bore obvious signs of trauma when he found the dead.

To start an inquiry, Ambala Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Srishti Gupta showed up at the location. According to the post-mortem report’s preliminary results, both girls died via strangulation and smothering.

On family claims Ambala Superintendent of Police (SP) Surinder Singh Bhoria verified the filing of a case. The inquiry is still underway, with the cops speculating that the father might be tied to this calamity as well. The local populace is dumbstruck by this unfortunate occurrence, which raises questions about how safe and protected our little ones are in the same circumstances.
