Swachh Survekshan 2021 ranking: Provide your feedback for Chandigarh here

The race to get the best ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2021 has started. Around 80,000 residents form Chandigarh have given their suggestions in the citizen feedback being sought by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India.

This time, the Swachh Survekshan 2021 ranking of cities in the survey will be decided on the basis of three categories. At the same time, instead of direct observation, the Swachh Survekshan 2021 survey has been linked to public feedback. This means that the teams coming for the survey will hold discussions with the residents and decide on the basis of their feedback whether the city is garbage free. Hence, the responsibility lies on the residents. This feedback will be collected till March 31.

So far, Chandigarh was ranked the following: 16th in 2020, 20th in 2019, 3rd in 2019, 11th in 2017.

Questions asked for the Swachh Survekshan 2021 ranking:

-Do you know that your city is participating in the Clean Survey 2021?

-Do you know the rank of your city in Swachh Survekshan -2020?

-How many points would you like to give to your city on a scale of 0-10 on the cleanliness level of your neighbourhood?

-On a scale of 0-10, how many marks would you like to give to your city on the cleanliness level of your commercial / public areas?

-Are you always asked to separate dry and wet waste from your garbage collector?

-How many marks would you like to give to your city on a scale of 0-10 on the cleanliness level of your city’s public or community toilets or urinals?

-Can you use the Cleanliness App or Local App to raise your objections of file complaints about cleanliness?

The race is for 6,000 marks.

Division of marks according to category:

-100 points for innovation in cleanliness.

-350 points on using the Cleanliness app. These points will be decided on redressal of complaints coming through the app.

-300 marks are of citizen experience. Observations will be made on the basis of discussion.

-450 points are from ‘citizen voice’. Points will be decided based on people’s engagement in cleanliness. -600 points are from Citizen Feedback. In this, people will be asked questions and then on the basis of their answers, these marks will be determined.
