On Saturday, one death and 58 Covid cases were reported in Chandigarh, taking the Union Territory’s death toll to 24 and case tally to 1,426.
Now, the city has 529 active cases. So far, 872 patients have recovered from the disease.
In Mohali, the biggest spike was observed with 95 fresh cases. The developments took Mohali’s tally to 1,264 with 19 deaths. Meanwhile, 23 patients were released after recovery, said the district health officials.
