STPI invites applications for cohort OCP 3.0

Start-up Punjab Hub @STPI is inviting applications for their next cohort OCP 3.0 of Neuron A Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics (Big Data), Animation & Gaming (AVG) and Internet of Things (IoT) in 9 Directorates major cities of India. The Incubation Centre was launched on September 30, 2019. The core partners in this endeavour are Government of Punjab, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), STPI-NEXT, Indian School of Business (ISB) and Punjab Technical University (PTU).

The hub has a mandate to launch & promote the flagship program of Startup & Entrepreneurship in the State of Punjab. The objective is to bring the aspiring entrepreneurs on a common platform, create an entire ecosystem, enable knowledge exchange, provide access to funds where Startup Punjab Hub @ STPI in collaboration with all the stakeholders plays an important role in helping Start-ups to get incubated and grow/scale with necessary support. 

The virtual launch of the OCP 3.0 and Lighting of Neuron Torch was presided over by Chief Guest Sibin C, Director IT Govt of Punjab; Omkar Rai, Director General STPI; Rajneesh Agrawal, Director STPI Noida; Hirdesh Madan, President TiE Chandigarh; Ajay Shrivastava, OIC and Centre Head STPI Mohali; Piyush Garg COO Neuron STPI Next, and senior officials, academia and entrepreneurs. 

The launch of (3rd Open Challenge Programme) through video conferencing was recently held on 22nd June 2021 and it aimed to bring the aspiring entrepreneurs across the region and India on a common platform to solve real-life problems related to specific domains using AI / Data Analytic, IoT and AVG. The last date for receipt of applications is August 1st, 2021.  

Neuron OCP 3.0, Neuron would also be rewarding 10 startups who onboard Neuron CoE and are specially promoting women entrepreneurs.
