SSR death case: CBI reconstructs crime scene at actor’s house

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) began its second day of investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case in Mumbai on Saturday.

A team of CBI officials along with forensic experts reached the actor’s house in Bandra along with his cook Neeraj Singh and roommate Siddharth Pithani at 2.30pm to reconstruct the crime scene.

Earlier in the day, CBI officials visited had Cooper Hospital at 11am to meet the doctors who conducted the autopsy. The investigators spent around two hours at the facility and met the dean of the hospital.

On Friday, investigators had already questioned Neeraj Singh, the actor’s cook at the DRDO’s guest house in Mumbai. Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda was questioned in the guest house of a private company at Marol in Andheri.

The team also collected evidence like the three mobile phones, his laptop, clothes, blanket, bedsheets, a green kurta, a glass used to drink juice and CCTV footage of his house and building.
