SSC Constable (GD) 2018 Online Application date has again been extended till 17 September 2019 up to 5 PM due to technical problems on the new version of the Commission’s wesbite. SSC issued notice regarding the extension of the last date on 28 July 2018 giving the assurance of data security of the candidates who have registered for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2018 through the new version of the SSC’s portal, i.e. ssc.nic.in.
Earlier, the last date to apply for 54953 posts in forces is till 24 August 2018 which was extended from 17 August due technical issues on the portal.

Candidates who have made up their mind to apply for the same can avail the online application process till 17 September 2018 till 5 PM. The application process can be checked by visiting the official site at ssc.nic.in. The date of examination is yet to come out.
About SSC GD Constable 2018
SSC GD Constable 2018 is expected to fill 54953 posts of Constables in ITBPF, BSF, CISF, CRPF and SSB and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles across the nation. Candidates appointed through SSC GD Constable 2018 are the in-charge of guard or escort. They are majorly responsible for the overall activities in absence of Assistant Sub-Inspector and Sub-inspectors. They are liable to obey the duties handed over to them by the SHO.
Aspirants who want to take up SSC GD Constable 2018 should be Class 10 pass from a recognised university or board to apply for the SSC GD Constable 2018. The age limit should all fall under 18-23 years of age.
The complete recruitment process of SSC GD Constable 2018 will consist of physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), computer based test and the medical test.
