The Shooting Range located in Sector-25 will soon be opened for the residents and sportspersons. On the directions of UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore, it is being converted into an international shooting range. Badnore visited the range to review the ongoing work. He directed the officers to complete the work of the range as soon as possible.
Advisor to the administrator Manoj Parida tweeted that Chandigarh Police Shooting-Range at Sector-25 is being upgraded and international-level facilities will be provided.
According to sources, this shooting range is an important project for Badnore who has been trying to get it ready for the last one year. As the Administrator is fond of shooting, he wants to build an international-level shooting-range in the city. The Administrator was accompanied by Manoj Parida, DC Mandeep Singh Brar, Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Sports Department Secretary KK Yadav, Chief Engineer Mukesh Anand, among others.
