The Supreme Court on Friday refused to entertain Nupur Sharma’s plea to club all FIRs for her remarks against the Prophet, saying her “loose tongue” has ignited the country, and led to the unfortunate incident in Udaipur.The SC castigated suspended BJP leader for comments on Prophet Mohammad, and said “her remarks were disturbing and smacked of arrogance”.
The SC referred to Nupur Sharma’s apology for the comment against Prophet Mohammad, and said it was too late and her remark led to the unfortunate incidents.”These people don’t have respect for other religions,” the SC said on Sharma’s plea to club FIRs against her for remark against the Prophet.The top court said Nupur Sharma’s remarks against the Prophet were made either for cheap publicity, political agenda or for some nefarious activities.
