State Bank of India (SBI) core banking services have been hit, the lender informed in a tweet. But not everything is down as users can still access ATMs and POS machines for transacting money. The top lender, in the tweet, confirmed that it has been facing some connectivity issues.
“Intermittent have delayed making our Core Banking System to our esteemed customers today (13.10.2020). We hope to be able to serve you normally before noon. All channels (except ATMs and POS machines) will be affected. We regret the inconvenience caused and request you to bear with us,” tweeted SBI.
Not only online users, but also Yono app users are not able to access full features.
SBI is the largest commercial bank in terms of assets, deposits, branches, customers, and employees. It is also the largest mortgage lender in the country.
