The annual 1st J Saupin Memorial Basketball Tournament concluded with Saupin’s School, Chandigarh winning the trophy against Vivek High School, Mohali with a score of 28-18. The well coordinated and agile moves of the Saupin’s 32 players were applauded by all. The top scorer was Satyam Mehta.
The 1st semi final match was played between Saupin’s School, Chandigarh and Learning Path School, Mohali. In which Saupin’s Chandigarh won by 31-18. The top scorer was Apaar (15 points.)
In the 2nd semi final between Vivek High School, Chandigarh and Vivek High School, Mohali, Vivek Mohali won the match by a score of 23-34. The scorer was Aarav (17points.)
Learning Path School, Mohali won the 3rd place against Vivek High School, Chandigarh with a score of 42-33. The Man of the Match was Pragun (16 points.)
Apaar Sood from Saupin’s 32, Chandigarh was declared ‘The Man of the Tournament’ of J Saupin Memorial Basketball Tournamentwhile ‘The best defence’ award’ went to Vedant Shandilya of Saupin’s School, Chandigarh.
Chairperson of the Saupin’s Educational Foundation Pierre Saupin and Principal Mrs Surita Sharma congratulated the winners and participants.
