The Punjab State Inter District Under-19 One Day Tournament started on July 27, 2021. The Fourth stages of League Matches were played today on 2nd August, 2021 at various District Headquarters and detailed results are as under:
Muktsar Sahib Beat Fazilka by 43 runs
Muktsar Sahib vs Fazilka match was played at NPS Cricket Ground, Muktsar Sahib, Punjab. Muktsar Sahib won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first Muktsar Sahib was bundled out for 165 in 44.2 overs. Jaspinder Brar 45 off 53 balls with 7 boundaries and Sunny Kumar 38 off 86 balls with 2 boundaries were themain run getters for Muktsar Sahib.
Sameer Kumar 4 for 30, Harpal Singh 2 for 22 and Rahul Saxena 2 for 36 were the main wicket takers for Fazilka. Fazilka in reply bundled out for 122 in 45 overs. Nikhiln Setia 27 off 48 balls and Tarun Kumar 22 off 42 balls were the highest run getters for Fazilka. For Muktsar Sahib Reavanpreet Singh 3 for 12 and Manpreet Singh 3 for 21 were the highest wicket takers. With this win Muktsar Sahib got 4 points while Fazilka got 0.
Ropar beat Moga by 6 wickets
Moga vs Ropar match was played at KIPS Samadh, Moga. Moga won the toss and opted to bat first. Batting first, Moga were all out for 161 in 39.3 overs. Manveer Singh 65 off 73 balls with 9 boundaries was the highest run getter for Moga. Arshpreet Singh 4 for 22, Mayank Gupta 2 for 29 and Karmanpreet Singh 2 for 41 were the main wicket takers for Ropar. In reply Moga got the target and scored 162 for 4 in 37.3 overs. Karmanpreet Singh 81 off 112 balls with 6 boundaries and 4 sixes and Mayank Gupta 51 off 73 balls with 7 boundaries were the main run getters for Ropar. Mohali VS Fatehgarh Sahib (Match Abandoned)
Mohali vs Fatehgarh Sahib match was played at PCA Cricket Stadium, Mohali, Punjab. Fatehgarh Sahib won the toss and opted to field first. Mohali batting first was scored 242 for all in 48 overs. Aryan Bhatia 61 off 53 balls with 7 boundaries and Sanraj Singh 39 off 51 balls with 3 boundaries were the highest run getters for Mohali. Yugnesh Kumar 4 for 28, Adesh Kumar 2 for 47 and Ajaypal Singh 2 for 46 were the highest wicket takers for Fatehgarh Sahib. Due to rain Fatehgarh Sahib Innings could not be started and the match was abandoned.
Bathinda beat Sangrur by 85 runs (VJD Method)
Sangrur vs Bathinda match was played at the Ranbir college Cricket ground, Sangrur, Punjab. Bathinda won the toss and opted to bat first. Batting first Bathinda was 194 for 7 in 43 overs before the rain came. Uday Partap Saharan 49 off 69 balls with 4 boundaries, Shiv 54 off 90 balls with 5 boundaries were the highest run getters for Bathinda.Yashpaawanjot Singh 3 for 50 and Tanishq Ahuja 2 for 33 were the main wicket takers for Sangrur.
Due to rain Sangrur got the revised target of 206 in 43 overs (VJD Method). In reply Bathinda were bundled out for 120 in 36.2 overs. Manish Kumar Jain scored 33 off 67 balls with 3 boundaries was the highest run getter for Sangrur. Delove Kumar Goyal 3 for 12 and Vanshish Verma 3 for 8 were the successful wicket takers for Bathinda. With this win, Bathinda got 4 points while Sangrur got 0.
Ferozepur beats Faridkot by 121 runs
Ferozepur vs Faridkot match was played at Barjindra College, Faridkot, Punjab. Ferozepur won the toss and elected to bat first. Ferozepur scored 233 for 5 in 50 overs. Hoshiarpur vs Nawanshahar match was played at Railway Mandi road ground, Hoshairpur, Punjab. Hoshiarpur won the toss and opted to bat first. Batting first Hoshiarpur was bundled out for 143 in 49.3 overs. Kultar Singh 24 off 32 balls with 2 boundaries and 1 Six was the highest run getter for Hoshiarpur. Manav Vashisht 3 for 26, Vivek 2 for 15 and DiptanshuJagpal 2 for 14 were the highest wicket takers for Nawanshahar.
