Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu and Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.
Balbir Singh Sidhu, who has been isolated at home, said that he was not feeling well since morning and got himself tested for Covid-19.
The health authorities said that his close contacts would also be tested soon.
It is pertinent to mention that Balbir Singh Sidhu had shared a stage with Rahul Gandhi during tractor rally in Punjab on October 5.
Meanwhile, Haryana deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala tweeted, “My Covid-19 report has come positive. I’m healthy and don’t have any symptoms. I request all those who have been in touch with me in last few days to get tested if doctors recommend you to.”
