A day after meeting the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Governor of Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Banwarilal Purohit today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi. Purohit was here for the first time after taking over as the Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh. He was sworn in as the new Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh on August 31. The Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana high court Justice Ravi Shanker Jha had administered the oath of office to Purohit at Punjab Raj Bhawan.
