  • Punjab chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi is trailing from Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur, the two assembly seats from which he was contesting the assembly elections. Chamkaur Sahib is considered a known turf for Channi who has represented the constituency in the assembly for three terms since 2007. The Bhadaur seat in Aam Aadmi Party’s stronghold Malwa was a bit of uncharted territory for him.
