Punjabi movies channel Pitara TV launched its new over-the-top (OTT) platform ‘Chaupal’ to provide access to quality content in three regional languages- Punjabi, Haryanvi and Bhojpuri. The word ‘Chaupal’ signifies a community space where people gather for a specific purpose.
The OTT Chaupal aims to provide seamless online entertainment for audience everywhere and at any time. It will offer latest and exclusive movies, web series, podcasts, music, documentaries and entertainment-based content from India to the world.
Chaupal will be available for access on all devices with Artificial Intelligence (AI) assisted search, which makes user experience super friendly. It offers subscription offers for each country. In India, the various plans are:

On its launch day, Chaupal released 12 originals (films and web series), 50 exclusives along with more than 300 movie offerings. Some of the original fims are: Panchhi, Kala Shehar, Teri Meri Nahi Nibhni, Main VS Tu, Please Kill Me and more. The OTT with the largest Punjabi and Bhojpuri film catalogue will further release two new web series and two new movies every month. Some exciting content that will soon be available on the OTT are: Murabba, Chandigarh Waale, Tunka Tunka, Zila Sangroor, Dustbin, Shikari, and many more.
