Panjab University (PU) will award the degrees of postgraduate students online from next year. PU has been engaged in this process since a long time. Its first trial has been successful as degrees have been awarded to PhD students. Around 10,000 students received online.
For this purpose, the student was given an ID and a password. Now, it is the turn of postgraduate degrees. Although, some PG degrees have been made available online. According to sources, Ned Agency is handling this work and data is being provided by PU. There are less chances of problems in these online degrees and if one faces any, then the PU will get it rectified.
Also, PU’s Controller of Examinations Department will release all the remaining results of postgraduate students this week. The graduation results will be released by next week. Results of five to six classes are being released by the department every day. PU examinations were conducted online in September for the students of final year. Along with this, it is being planned to conduct the examinations of the ongoing academic session in February. The office of the Controller of Examinations is also preparing for this. The results of private students are also being released.
