Around 50 teachers will be recruited by Punjab Engineering College (PEC) (deemed to be university) and vacancies will be released in the last week of December. The recruitment process will start from January and continue till March.
Applications will be shortlisted and candidates who pass the eligibility will be called for the interview. Only 20 to 25 candidates will be interviewed in a day. PEC will not conduct online interviews for recruiting new teachers. Instead, the candidates who filled the application form will have to appear before the interview board.
PEC director will be the chairman of this board who will be accompanied by the head of department and two other senior professors. PEC has made it clear that no recommendations of any kind would be allowed; only the ability of a person will land him/her a job.
