Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, is going to conduct examinations of students studying in second and third year after Diwali. First-year exams will not be held yet, as their admission process is going on.
PEC has more than 3,000 students and the exams could not be conducted due to the pandemic.
PEC is planning to conduct the exams of second and third year students so that they get their result in a timely manner. The exam date has not been finalised yet, but they will start after November 25.
In the first phase, only those students will be called who wish to come to the campus and take exams. Students will be called in a staggered manner in batches of 400 for the exam. All the guidelines will be followed during the exams. They will also be given space to stay in hostels.
B.Tech classes to start from Dec 1
After the results of JEE, PEC started the admission process for BTech, which will be completed by November 5. The online classes will commence after the admission process is completed. The online classes of these students will start from December 1.
