20th Dec 2020, Ludhiana: On the 3rd day of the tournament, Patiala Colts HRCF team beat Malwa Heroes by 07 wickets Hara Cricket Academy grounds, Ludhiana and claimed 02 crucial points which may keep them alive in the tournament. Malwa Heroes skipper won the toss in the morning at Hara Cricket ground and decided to bat on a flat batting wicket. Except their opener Tegbir Hara 22 runs in 26 balls and Harjot Singh 24 runs in 28 balls, no other batters applied themselves and threw away their wickets against some tight bowling by Patiala colts bowlers and were all out for 81 runs in 18.5 overs. For Patiala colts, spinner Emanjot Singh 4-0-17-4 wickets, Gurwinder Bhullar 4-0-9-2 wkts and Prince Balwant Rai 4-0-14-2 wkts were the successful bowlers.
In reply, Patiala Colts HRCF team achieved the target in 14.1 overs for the loss 3 wickets. Opener Vishwapartap Singh 19 runs and Ekampreet Singh were involved in a partnership of 46 runs for the first wicket. Mandeep Bawa 17 n.o. finished the job for the team. For Malwa Heroes, Spinner Harjot was the successful bowler with figures of 4-1-11-2 wkts.

In the second match of the day at GRD Academy ground, Ludhiana –Amandeep Cricket club, Amritsar beat Mohali legends by 48 runs and claimed 02 crucial points to stay alive in the tournament.
Mohali Legends won the toss and elected to field first. A second wicket partnership of 50 runs between Rohan Marwaha 39 runs of 29 balls ( 1×6, 4x4s) and Abhishek Sagar 60 runs of 40 balls ( 1x 6 and 6 x4s) put them on the track and they finally ended up 154 for 7 wickets in allotted 20 overs. For Mohali Legends , Saurav Dhaliwal was the successful bowler with 4-0-33-2 wkts.
In reply Mohali Legends started well by having a partnership 25 runs for the first wicket between Sachin Sohal and Subeer Hayer, but thereafter lost wickets at regular intervals and were all out for 106 runs in 18.5 overs . Only Kuwarjeet Singh showed some resistance by getting 43 runs of 26 balls studded with 2 sixes and 1 four. For Amandeep Academy, Amritsar- Ranji player left arm spinner Vinay Choudhary was the most successful bowler claiming 5 wickets for 10 runs in 3.5 overs. He was ably supported by Rohit Gulati 4-0-27-3 wickets.
Vinay Choudhary was adjudged Man of the Match was his brilliant bowling .
