Over 100 farmers missing since tractor parade, delegation from Punjab meets Amit Shah

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha has claimed that over 100 people have gone missing since the violence on Republic Day and it has formed a six-member committee to look into the matter.

According to the statement, the SKM will collect data on such missing persons and the matter will be taken up with the authorities. Any information can be shared on 8198022033.

Punjab cabinet ministers Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Sukhwinder Singh Sarkaria and Bharat Bhushan Ashu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Monday afternoon to talk about the same.

As per information, the Cabinet Ministers would discuss about the safety of the missing farmers with the Home Minister. Also, the police cases registered on struggling farmers on Delhi border will be taken by the Punjab government. All three ministers left for Delhi via a chopper and are expected to return to Chandigarh by evening.

Farmers’ and various religious organisations of the state have alleged that more than 400 farmers and youth have gone missing since the Delhi violence and Delhi Police is being pointed at in this regard. Khalda Mission of Amritsar has alleged that all them are in illegal custody of Delhi Police.
