One more loses battle to Covid in Mohali

With one more person losing battle to Covid-19 in Mohali on Thursday, the death toll now stands at 68. As many as 128 Covid cases were reported, taking the count to 3165 in the district.

Out of the fresh cases, 29 are from Mohali city, 22 from Kharar, 36 from Gharuan, 10 from Kurali, 3 from Banur, 19 from Dhakoli, 7 from Dera Bassi and 2 from Lalru. Also, 41 persons recovered from the disease, bringing down the number of active patients to 1,415 in the district.

In Panchkula, 94 cases were on Thursday, taking the toll to 1,923. Also, two persons died because of the virus.

The positive cases were reported from Nanakpur, Hangola, Pinjore, Kalka, Sector 4, sector 7, 15, Surajpur, Old Panchkula, Sector 25, 12 A, 14, 10, 25, 21, 6, 11 and 17.

Till date, 1,923 persons have tested positive in the district, out of which 730 cases are active and 1,178 have been discharged.
