The Chandigarh Administration has categorically stated that there is no new Covid-19 patient in Chandigarh who has arrived from the United Kingdom.
In a statement, the Administration said that any person who has returned from the UK between November 25 to December 23and is visiting or staying in Chandigarh and has not informed Chandigarh Administration and Health Department so far, must immediately call and inform on 24×7 helpline number 9779558282 , 24×7 control number 0172 -2752038 or send and a mail to idsp.chandigarh@gmail.com
Out of the 95 passengers under surveillance, 35 arrived in India from December 9 to 23. Out of these, one has gone back to the US and the remaining 34 have been sampled. Out of these, 25 tested negative on RT-PCR and the result of remaining nine is awaited.
