Nearly 100 people were detained in Maharashtra’s Thane on suspicion of consuming drugs after the police raided an alleged rave party.The raids were conducted in the wee hours of Sunday, ahead of the New Year’s Eve celebrations.Those detained also included the two who allegedly organised the party.
The Crime Branch Unit of the Thane Police spearheaded the late-night operation, which began around 2 am. During the raid, officials discovered and seized various illegal substances, including LSD, marijuana, indicating drug use at the event.As part of the ongoing investigation, medical examinations of the detained individuals were being carried out to confirm the allegations of drug consumption.
