The physical meeting of Chandigarh municipal Corporation was held on Thursday after a gap of seven months.
Keeping the social distancing rules in view, the sitting arrangement was planned by maintaining a gap between all the councillors and transparent glasses were installed as a precautionary measure in municipal corporation meet. No media persons and general public was allowed in the gallery of the assembly hall.
Some of the topics on the agenda were regarding user charges for door-to-door collection as per solid waste management bylaws, procurement of dry and green fodder for cattle pound, contract of existing various categories of manpower, revision of water charges, etc. discussed.
