In a citizen-centric initiative, Mohali Traffic Police under the guidance of SSP Satinder Singh initiated ‘Mask Pao, Corona Bhajao’ (Wear mask, get rid of Corona) Campaign.
“Issuing traffic challans for violation of government guidelines is our duty and we are doing so, but we have also taken up free distribution of masks for citizens’ welfare”, said SP Traffic Mohali, Gurjot Singh Kaler. “We also educate violators about the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic,” he said. Pertinently, right after assuming SSP Satinder Singh had made it clear that crime control and community policing would go hand-in-hand in his administration.
