Mohali district health dept gets 2 new ambulances

Mohali civil surgeon Dr Manjit Singh on Tuesday flagged off two new ambulances provided by the Punjab Government to the District Health Department.

Thanking the Health and Family Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu, he said, “Due to their efforts, the district health department got these ultra-modern ambulances from the government. Both ambulances will be deployed at Naya Gaon and Singhpura, near Zirakpur, and will help in transporting road-accident victims to the hospitals.”

Dr Manjit Singh said that the ambulances are more spacious compared to the other ambulances and are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery.

Deputy medical commissioner Dr Daljit Singh, District family welfare officer Dr Nidhi, District dental health officer Dr Gurjot Kaur, District epidemiologist Dr Renu Singh, District pharmacy officer Jagdev Singh and health inspector Bhupinder Singh were also present at the occasion.
