The semi final matches of Punjab State Inter District Under-19 One Day Tournament was played on Friday at Amritsar and Bathinda.
The first semifinal match was played between Amritsar and Mohali at Gandhi Ground, Amritsar, Punjab. Amritsar won the toss and opted to bat first. Due to rain match was reduced to 34 overs each side. Batting first Amritsar was bundled out for 124 in 33 overs. Skipper Manroop Singh 37 off 37 balls inclusive of 2 boundaries and 1 six, Arshdeep Singh 22 off 52 balls with 1 boundary and Sandeep Nishad 18 off 23 balls with 1 boundary and 2 sixes were the highest run getters for Amritsar.
Aryan Bhatia 3 for 25, Harshdeep Singh 2 for 31 and Raghuvar Narang 2 for 11 were the highest wicket takers for Mohali.
Mohali in reply got the target of 124 in 33 overs and made it to the Finals of the tournament. Rushil Srivastva unbeaten 65 off 81 balls with 8 boundaries and 1 six and Jovanpreet Singh 29 off 61 balls with 1 six were the successful run getters for Mohali.
Akshpreet Singh 2 for 25 was the only successful bowler for Amritsar.
Mohali will now take on Bathinda on 8th August 2021 at IS Bindra, PCA Stadium Mohali.

The 2nd Semifinal of Punjab State tournament for U-19 was abandoned due to rain. Bathinda qualified for finals on most number of wins in the league stage.
Deepak Sharma CEO, PCA informed that, the final of the tournament will be played at IS Bindra, PCA Stadium Mohali between Mohali VS Bathinda on 8th August 2021.
