Maruti Suzuki India is ready to make a new explosion. Maruti Suzuki India has announced that it will open bookings for its all-new mid-size SUV Grand Vitara from July 20.
It has been developed jointly by Toyota and Maruti Suzuki. This will be Maruti’s most expensive SUV till date.
It will get both mild hybrid and hybrid engine options and will be offered in two variants Grand Vitara and Grand Vitara Intelligent Electric Hybrid. This vehicle will be similar to Toyota’s Hyryder. It will replace the S-Cross in Maruti’s line-up.
The Maruti Grand Vitara will be offered with the same powertrain options as the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. These include the familiar 1.5-litre mild-hybrid and a strong hybrid powertrain that uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 91 BHP and 122 Nm and an electric motor with an output of 78 BHP and 141 Nm.
It will be sold through Nexa dealerships. Bookings have opened at all the touch points of NEXA across the country at Rs 11,000 while the car will be officially unveiled on July 20, it will go on sale from August 2022. Suzuki’s best engineering, design and powertrain can be seen in this vehicle.
