Kisan Ekta Morcha calls for boycott of PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat

Amid the ongoing deadlock between farmers and central government over farm bills, Kisan Ekta Morcha has made an appeal to all the farmers concerning the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ that is scheduled for December 27.  It has asked all the farmers to boycott PM’s Mann Ki Baat address.

Criticising Prime Minister Modi for ignoring the concern of farmers, Rajinder Singh, a farmer leader has demanded that PM address should also be ignored. He posted the video appeal on the official Twitter page of Kisan Ekta Morcha on Saturday saying, “Country’s PM is still only listening to his ‘Mann Ki Baat’….he is still not ready to pay attention to the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ of farmers.”

“Such irresponsible leaders who are not ready to listen to farmers, there Mann Ki Baat should also not be given importance,” he added.

He further asked the farmers to start clapping hands, banging utensils, drum, or whatever is at their disposal, during the telecast of PM’s Mann Ki Baat on Sunday. A few days ago Facebook had suspended the Facebook page of Kisan Ekta Morcha that led to huge public outrage. The social media handle later restored the page along with issuing a clarification.
