In the first match played today for the Trident Cup in the 26th All India JP Atray Memorial Cricket tournament, DDCA won the toss and elected to bat first. They made a disastrous start as their opener Sarthak Ranjan and Hiten Dalal were sent back in the hut by the incisive bowling by medium pacer Priyanshu Vijya Ram with the score reading just 1 for 2 in 1.5 overs. Then, Vaibhav Khandpal and Khitij Sharma came together to stitch a 102 runs partnership for the 3rd wicket before Khistij Sharma was caught by P Malik of the bowling of left arm spinner Harshik Kaushik for 38 off 73 balls inclusive of 5 boundaries.
Jonty Sidhu then joined Vaibhav Khandpal who was keeping one end up and added 19 runs for the 4th wicket before P Malik and Harshit Kaushik combined accounted for Jonty Sidhu. Wickets kept on falling at regular interval as Vaibhav Khandpal continued to guide the innings from one end and the process completed a splendid century 110 off 120 balls inclusive of 9 boundaries and 1 six before being caught by substitute Sagar of Priyanshu Vijya Ram with the teams score reading 179 for 7 .DDCA innings folded soon after being bowled out for 196 in 49 overs. The bowling honour for Ranstar Cricket club were shared by Priyanshu Vijya Ram 3 for 33, Harshit Kaushik 3 for 49 and Subodh Bhatti 2 for 22.
Replying Ranstar Cricket Club chased the target by scoring 198 for 3 in 34.5 overs. Ranstar Cricket Club won by 7 wickets and garner 4 points while DDCA got Zero. Pardeep Malik 66 for 75 balls, Keshav Patel 76 off 95 balls, Chetnya Bishnoi 22 off 23 balls were the main run getters for Ranstar Cricket Club. For DDCA Tejas 2 for 44 was the successful bowler.

In the 2nd match played Delhi Capitals won the toss & elected to bat. They opened with Kedhar Devdhar and Rajesh Sharma and the duo put on 65 runs for the 1st wicket before Rajesh Sharma was caught by Manoj Singh of Shourya for 26 inclusive of 2 boundaries and 1 six. Delhi Capitals then lost Dinesh Mor 9 , Prateek Mankad 4 and were reduced to 91 for 3 in 21.2 overs. Kedar Devhdhar was next to go caught Manoj Singh off Pankaj Rao for 34 off 74 balls inclusive of 3 boundaries thereafter Upender Yadav and Maynak Rawat stitched a partnership off 133 runs for the 5th wicket before Upender Yadav was caught by Sahoura off Pankaj Rao well made 58 off 69 balls studed with 3 boundaries and 2 huge sixes. Mayank Rawat went onto score a brisk 90 off 79 balls studded with 7 boundaries and 5 huge sixes before being caught by Ankit Kaushik of Pankaj Rao. Delhi Capital essay ended at 273 for 7 in 50 overs. The bowling honour for CAG were shared by Pankaj Rao 3 for 57 and Karan Kaila 2 for 39 were the most successful bowler.
Replying CAG chased the target of 275 for the loss of 4 wickets in 49 overs and garner 4 points while Delhi Capital Dev. Got zero. Arpit Vasavada unbeaten 106 off 116 balls inclusive of 9 boundaries and Ankit Kaushik unbeaten 82 off 90 balls studded with 7 boundaries were the main run getters for CAG Delhi. For Delhi Capital Dev. Rahul Gehlot 2 for 39 was the highest wicket taker. TRIDENT man of the match award was given to Arpit Vasavada who is the skipper of Saurashtra Ranji Team for his 2nd consecutive century by Mr. Markande, Sr. Advocate Punjab & Haryana High Court.

In the 3rd match played at Maharaja Yadwindra Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur between Chattisgarh Cricket Sangh and RBI Mumbai. Chattisgarh won the toss and elected to field. RBI were lost their first encounter in the tournament scored a healthy 275 for 7 in 50 overs. RBI innings boosted by Dhruv Shorey who hit a power packed 89 off 103 balls inclusive of 7 boundaries and 3 sixes and Jyot Chahya 38 off 55 balls with 2 boundaries and 1 six . They were involve 113 runs partnership for the 4th wicket the bowling honours for Chhattisgarh were shared by Sourabh 2 for 56 while Naman, Sashank Singh, Ajay Mandal , BN Rao , Sudhan Aggarwal scalped 1 wicket each.
Replying Chhattisgarh were bundled out for 204 in 43.5 overs. Ajay Mandal 69 off 66 balls with 6 boundaries and 3 sixes, Shubham Aggarwal unbeaten 53 off 78 balls with 2 boundaries and 1 six were the highest run getters for Chhatisgarh State Cricket Sangh. Amit Mishra 4 for 30 and Sayan Mandal 4 for 51 were the main wicket takers for RBI Mumbai. RBI Mumbai won the match by 71 runs and got 4 points while Chhattisgarh got zero.
