Justice Rajiv Sharma of the Punjab and Haryana High Court retired on Wednesday. He was third senior most judge at the court.
He was born in Shimla and completed his studies at Himachal Pradesh University.
He enrolled as advocate in the year 1982 and was elevated as judge in Himachal Pradesh high court in 2007.
He assumed charge in Chandigarh in November 2018 and also served as acting chief justice for two months.
