Chandigarh Administration started a Help Desk to monitor Covid positive patients who have opted for home isolation and also to address to the queries of the general public.
This help desk will be 24*7 operational, where staff and doctors will call all the patients in home isolation and advise them regarding the medicines to be taken. The patients will also be explained about the signs and symptoms that need immediate attention.
Dr Amandeep Kang, Director Health Services, made a surprise visit today and also interacted with Covid patients in home isolation.
She enquired about their well-being and sought their feedback. She stressed upon the staff to be prompt in shifting patients to hospitals from home whenever the need is felt to decrease the mortality rate.
