Haryana Staff Selection Commission extends date for 7,298 police constable recruitment

Haryana Staff Selection Commission has extended the application period for the 7,298 posts of police constable till 11.59 pm on February 25. Now, the fees can be submitted by March 1. The Commission took this decision in view of the technical problems faced by applicants on the last day (10 February) of submitting online application.

The Staff Selection Commission had commenced the online application process on January 11, 2021. Earlier, an advertisement for recruitment of more than 5,000 posts was withdrawn in December, 2020, due to changes in rules and increase in the number of posts. If someone had filled the form last time, then to get the fee waived, the applicant will have to fill the new form and submit the previous registration number.

A combined entrance test will be conducted for this recruitment, for which registration has to be done by March 31, 2021. Only those who register will be able to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination. Out of the total 7298 posts, 5,500 posts are for male constable (general duty), 1,100 for female constable (general duty) and 698 posts for female constable (Durga Forest Battalion). The application fee for male, general class is ₹100, ₹25 for reserved category, and for females it is ₹50 for general category and ₹13 for reserved category.
