Haryana government has increased the price of sugarcane by ₹10 per quintal and now farmers will get ₹350 per quintal.
“The rate of sugarcane is the highest in the country,” said chief minister (CM) Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday.
He said that the government is taking every decision in the interest of farmers. The power supply period has been increased from 8 to 10 hours for agricultural tubewells in two more districts Sirsa and Palwal for the Rabi sowing season. Earlier, 10 hours of electricity was being supplied in Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurugram-1 and Gurugram-2.
