Haryana government has banned presenting flower arrangement in government functions due to finance crunch being faced because of the pandemic. In a letter written by Under Secretary, Protocol, Chief Minister Haryana to all heads, it was stated that due to resource crunch being faced by the state exchequer because of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic Government has decided to refrain from the practice of gifting bouquets of flowers/flower arrangements in all government functions.
