This Navratri, those who want to offer prayers at Mata Mansa Devi will have to first purchase the online token from the website of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board: mansadevi.org.in. The Ashwin Navratri fair will be held from October 17 and to October 25.
In view of Covid, district deputy commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja issued the following guidelines in a meeting:
-Bhandaras/langars will not be organised
-Setting up of temporary market will not be allowed
To provide hassle-free darshan to senior citizens, handicapped and women, free CNG auto rickshaws will ply from Kalka bus stand to the main temple between 8am and 8pm daily during the festival.
The use of masks and social distancing will be fully followed in the wake of the pandemic. The health department will provide 24-hour medical facilities to the devotees. For this, a special team of doctors will be charged and two ambulances will be deployed.
Services such as parking, light and water will also be provided to the devotees. The meeting was attended by SDM Kalka Rakesh Sandhu, Chief Executive Officer MS Yadav, Secretary Sharda, Vishal Seth, Shyam Lal Bansal, Kalka’s secretary along with officers and officials of several departments.
