Good news for schools – Haryana govt waives tax of pvt school buses

Haryana government has waived of tax of private schools buses and maxi cabs from April to July, when the buses were not running during the pandemic.

Chief minister (CM) Manohar Lal gave directions to the Transport Department in this regard, when the private school operators had met the CM. 

Tax has been collected from schools for two months, ie August and September.

State head of the Private School Association, Satyavan Kundu, has demanded the government to waive of the tax of the whole period and also give exemption in insurance and loan instalments.

Accreditation, permission and NOC will be issued to private schools

The Haryana government has decided to give recognition, permission and no objection certificates (NOCs) to hundreds of private schools. All district education officers of the state will have to settle all outstanding files of private schools within 20 days.

District education officers have been instructed to inspect the concerned schools and send all the documents to the Directorate of School Education through e-office or online.
