Four members of a gang involved in the murder and looting of cricketer Suresh Raina’s relatives in Pathankot have been arrested by police from Gidderbaha.
They have been identified as Kazam alias Rinda of Saharanpur, Chahat alias Jan of Kanpur, Rahul of Kanpur and Ranjita of Saharanpur, all from Uttar Pradesh & Bihar.
According to sources, police recovered a 12-bore gun and sharp-edged weapons from the accused.
Police said that the accused are residents of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and were living in slums set up in vacant plots. Police said that they expect to uncover the gang’s involvement in other crimes too.
