Further streamline process to give jobs on compassionate grounds in expedite manner: Pargat Singh to officers

Punjab Education Minister Pargat Singh today asked the officers to further reduce the time period for providing jobs on compassionate grounds to the eligible next of kin of deceased employees.The Minister, who handed over the job letters to 26 staff members including 1 Mistress, 7 Clerk, 4 SLA, 12 Peon and 2 Chowkidar in Education department, said that it is the moral duty of every government to help such families in hour of distress.

He said that it is heartening to know that in most of cases the department works in sympathetic manner. However, Pargat Singh said that the process needs to be further simplified and streamlined to ensure that the eligible beneficiaries don’t face any difficulty.The Minister said that these beneficiaries have already faced a lot due to problem due to death of their kin. He said that instead of enhancing the problems of these aggrieved families we must facilitate them so that they can overcome the trauma of loosing their loved ones. Pargat Singh also took the feedback from the beneficiaries about any problem faced by them during the process of getting jobs.Meanwhile, the Minister exhorted the new appointees to discharge their duty with utmost dedication and commitment. He said that the beneficiaries got this opportunity to serve their country and state adding they should set a new benchmark by performing their duty diligently.

Pargat Singh wished the new appointees stupendous success in their lives ahead.DPI (Secondary Education) Sukhjit Pal Singh further adding that 26 newly appointed staff members included; Parminder Kaur (Punjabi Mistress), Neetu Sharma, Shubham Sethi, Navpreet Kaur, Sarthi Joshi, Rahul, Mukesh Kumar and Kuljit Sunar (Clerk), Birkaran Singh, Navjot Kaur, Geeta Gill and Kashveer Randhawa (SLA), Satwinder Kaur, Komal Sharma, Pardeep Kumar, Amandeep Singh, Ruchika Bains, Rajinder Kaur, Harris, Manpreet Singh, Gurmeet Ram, Nishant Sharma, Gurjeet Kaur and Kulwinder Kaur (Peon), Andy and Arjun Kumar (Chowkidar).
