In the video, Arun Bajaj said that he is taking this step to support the farmers. “Before being a Hindu, Muslim or Sikh, I am a Punjabi and I cannot see the injustice being done to the farmers. I received this award last year due to my hard work. Now, I’m returning it and want nothing from the government.”
He demanded the Central Government to give relief to the farmers by withdrawing the farm laws.
For his unique skill, Arun (Needle Man) has received several accolades including certificates from the Limca Book of Records and the India Book of Records. He even applied for the Guinness World Record, but his application was unfortunately rejected as his work failed to find a category. He has single-handedly crafted over 250 threaded pieces or tapestries that are being sold all over the world, from the United States to Russia.
